That's exactly why we created Smooch.
Smooch is our intimate wedding experience for couples who love the Petrichor Farm aesthetic but don't need a full-scale wedding. It's thoughtfully designed, can be beautifully styled and intentionally uncomplicated.
We've thoughtfully curated the ceremony and celebration, so you can focus on what matters most, marrying your favourite person and enjoying the day together.
No endless decisions.

No wondering whether you've forgotten something.
Choose hire only, or create a seamless experience by adding services such as our celebrant, photographer, and curated grazing boards and beverage options.
Hosted one Sunday of each month, we offer both morning and afternoon ceremony times that are adjusted for daylight savings to take advantage of the best natural light throughout the year.
Your 2.5 hour hire includes our ceremony space under the old Elm tree, ceremony chairs, arbors, signing barrel and welcome water station, plus use of the grounds for photography.
Unlike a traditional wedding where every element is customised, Smooch follows a carefully curated format that isn't designed to be altered. We've perfected the timeline, styling, food and experience, so every couple enjoys the same effortless, stress-free celebration.

No, only Sundays and at this stage only one Sunday per month.

We require at least EIGHT weeks’ notice so the marriage celebrant has enough time to prepare and lodge the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) and complete the necessary legal paperwork with the ACT government before your wedding date.
This will also be the case if you choose your own Celebrant.

2 Hours Photography coverage including ceremony, guest and family pics plus a 45 minute couples portrait shoot. A curated collection of edited Hi-Res image files will be available to download from an online gallery.

No, for this type of Intimate Wedding offering we can only cater for up to 30 guests. If you have more than 30 guest our Thursday Wedding offering may be a better option.

No, however they are transferrable with more than seven days notice to another date and time with in the calendar year of the original booking.

No, due to public liability and food safety we cannot allow external food on to the property. We have delicious grazing boards available to purchase.

No, that would breach our liquor licence.

Smoking and vaping are permitted only in the designated smoking area, and all cigarette butts must be disposed of in the bin provided.

The florals are sustainable faux from Petrichor Stems. The style is called wild Goddess and the vibe is untamed, grounded and effortless beautiful celebration of the Australian landscape. The palette is earthy green, muted creams, ochre, rustic reds and blush naturals.
